My Story

I’ve always been a maker. I grew up in a big, creative family where expressing yourself was part of everyday life—playing violin, sewing for my small business, painting, drawing, always creating something with my hands. That love for creativity eventually led me to study ceramics in college, where I fell in love with the calm, grounding rhythm of clay.

My path later brought me into the world of mental health. I earned a master’s degree in mental health counseling with a specialization in expressive arts therapy, learning how creativity can help people reconnect with themselves and heal emotional experiences that words alone can’t reach.

Five years ago, I moved to Sayulita and then met my husband Josué. This town quickly became home. Over time, I developed a desire to create an artistic space for others to join me in slowing down and expressing oneself freely.

Earth Wonder Studio grew from that desire. What began as my personal practice became a place where anyone can explore clay, reconnect with their creativity, and make something meaningful. My studio brings together everything I care about: art, presence, expression, and the joy of making something with your hands.
